BOARD OF TRUSTEES CHAIRPERSON

Orode Uduaghan was born in 1989. She is a Psychology graduate from the University of Windsor Ontario Canada who started her mission to change the world at age 15.

She took part in the Junior Achievement Business program; the program was designed to help students learn how a business organization works. In recent times, however, she became an executive team member for the 12:01 charity group, an organization founded by the University of Windsor to help children with Leprosy. In the middle of the school year in 2007, Orode started her own foundation called Pink Pearl Foundation (www.pinkpearl-foundation.org) which aid Nigerian women who have breast and cervical cancer.

The foundation is focused on reducing the mortality rate caused by Breast and Cervical cancer by creating awareness around the nation. Her mission to leave behind a legacy that began at 15 is rapidly unfolding and becoming more evident.

A business and Lifestyle coach Orode has been called upon to train and speak on various platforms like the prestigious WIMBIZ annual conference, TFAA Master class, Lagos Small Business Summit, etc. She recently completed a Public Health Course at the University of California Los Angeles, to improve her knowledge in Health Management to aid her mission in creating a better health sector in her country Nigeria. She is currently a WIMBIZ 2017 Mentor and INTEL “SHE WILL” CONNECT 2017 Mentor.

She has an  Executive Masters In Business Administration at the University of Warwick, London.

 

ISAAC SUCCESS OMOYELE

Isaac Success Omoyele is a passionate young man who inspires people to pursue their dream and live a life of impact. He has helped hundreds of children living in slums back to school and build healthy self-esteem to realise their dreams and aspirations. Isaac is at the fore front in his community when it comes to empowering no income persons in the society to be self sustainable. Isaac founded Dream From the Slum (DFTS) Empowerment Initiative to contribute his quota to solving the problem of Poverty and reducing the high number of out of school children in Nigeria which contributes to the sustainable development goals one (No Poverty) and Goal four (Quality Education).

Isaac’s intervention has impacted over 6,000 children and 300 women respectively. Isaac serves as a world at school Global Youth Ambassador and he is an alumnus of Aileen Getty School of Citizen Journalism , Pan Atlantic University, UN University of Peace, Curators University, Leap Africa Social Innovators Programme, Commonwealth Discovery Young Leaders Program and Lagos Business School. Isaac serves as a member of the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youths, International Youth Alliance for Family Planning, Nigerian Red Cross Society, National Youth Council of Nigeria , Global Alliance for Youth Leaders, International Youth Council and AJIF Professional Elite Association.

Isaac has been nominated for and received various local and international awards such as the African Youth Awards, 25 under 25 awards, Essence Award for going the extra mile from Ireland, Tush Award (2015 & 2016) for best use of advocacy, Pearl Award as a young African leader,Social Entrepreneur award from Ajegunle Business School, Humanitarian Award from Rotary Club just to mention a few.

BARR. TAIWO AKINLAMI

Taiwo AKINLAMI is a Social Development and Public Interest Lawyer and Childhood Management and Child Development Subject Matter Expert of over 20 years.

He develops relevant products and cutting-edge services, aimed at promoting THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PRECIOUS AFRICA CHILD, anchored on The iProtect™ Approach (TiA), an ideology, which is a product of extensive research. TiA is aimed at addressing the impact of our dominant value system and human factor on Child Rights and Responsibilities, CARE and Protection, and Childhood Preservation and Family Strengthening.

He has over the years worked with individuals, families, and leading local and international institutions like APEN, ACSI, NAPPS, UNICEF, the British Council, Google, Facebook, SOS Children Villages, just to mention a few. He is a passionate and consummate Social Empowerment Advocate™(SEA), which project and the approach thereof was showcased at Europe, the Middle East, and Africa Child Safety Summit, hosted by Google and Facebook, where he made a presentation on same.

He is the Principal, Taiwo AKINLAMI Academy, a Legal Enlightenment & Social Development™ academy and he is happily married to his adorable, amiable and supportive wife of over a decade, Oluwafunmilayo and the family resides in Lagos.

TOLULOPE OLALEKAN

Tolulope Olalekan is a creative, highly skilled, solution oriented entrepreneur with keen eyes for details.

With experience spanning over 15 years in the Design and Education Industries, Tolulope Olalekan founded a start-up Interior design and Soft furnishing company- Rubies’n’Sapphire in 2009. She’s led the transformation of this start-up to an enterprise focused one, providing clients both locally and Internationally with sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing Interior design solutions.

A trained and certified Interior Designer from the New York Institute of Arts & Design, USA and graduate of Innovation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Linneaus University, Sweden, she combines both knowledge holistically to steering the wheel of Entrepreneurial solutions in the design field.

Also, a graduate of English and certified English as a Foreign Language consultant from the TEFL Academy, UK, Tolulope with a knack for teaching currently works as a Senior English as a Second Language (ESL) consultant with institutions within the Asian and Eastern European regions where she uses the Task-Based learning approach to assist professionals and students use the English language to achieve their academic and career goals. She has since trained over 10,000 of them.

Passionate about change in a perverted world and especially the protection of vulnerable children, Tolulope currently volunteers for UNICEF, Sweden where she collaborates with a team of child care professionals to help integrate refugee children into the Swedish society.    

Equally passionate about change in a perverted world, the development of Africa and the discovery of hidden and latent potentials, her wealth of experience has seen her consistently in the media for interviews and as speakers at various conferences around the world.

Excellence, Integrity, Accomplishment and Compassion top the chart of her core values and these she drives home and lives out on a day to day basis.

Tolulope is an aspiring podcast host and currently writing a Memoir.

ONYINYE CATHERINE OKECHI

Onyinye Catherine is a passionate humanitarian with a core interest in child psychology. An early childhood education enthusiast who has a certificate in citizen journalism from Alien Getty School of Citizen Journalism, Israel, and a certificate in Non-Profit Leadership and Management from Lagos Business School. She is a board member who serves as the Senior Programme Manager/Head of Staff for Dreams From The Slum Empowerment Initiative

Ik Nwosu

Ik Nwosu is the community manager at BellaNaija.
He is a writer with core expressions to be found in content development, personal and social development.
He is an integral part of the team responsible for the x5 increase in BellaNaija’s social media following within 4 years.
When he’s not busy spearheading content production, he is sharing his valuable perspective on social media and social impact strategies at both local and international events.

Onye Ubanatu is a Multidisciplinary African Creative Entrepreneur. Visual Communication Specialist, TEDx Speaker, Strategic Content & Event Producer.
Onye Ubanatu’s desire for quality, passion, and going above and beyond is evident in every brand with that he has worked. To many, he is regarded as a creative beast with octopus-like talent who is always on the lookout for new ways to inspire others through his story and process.
He has worked in a diverse range of television shows, corporate videos, International News features, produced documentaries, local and international events including the historic and first-ever Nigerian Football Federation Awards, Warri Again, BOVI Naughty by Nature, BUA group’s 30th anniversary, Argungu International Cultural and Fishing Festival, Alternate Sound live, 21st coronation of the Olu of Warri amongst others.
He is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer at MyPassionMyLife Media.
